Celebrating 100 Days of School
Today we celebrated the 100th day of school. Students walked through the 100 sign at the beginning of the day and second graders dressed up as if they were 100 years old! Celebrations continued in each classroom.Everyone is 100 days smarter than they were in September!

The Sense of Taste!
Kindergarten students are learning about the five senses. Today, they had the opportunity to taste test foods that were salty, sweet, bitter and sour. The science lab was decorated to look like a restaurant, complete with tablecloths, "real" dishes, special lighting, and background Italian music. Mangia!
World Language Day at SSS
World Language Honor Society students from ESM High School visited our second grade classes today to read stories in Spanish, French, Italian and American Sign Language. We hope this inspires our young students to think about what languages they would like to learn!
