Junior Achievement-Grade 2

Volunteers from HSBC came to South Street School today to teach our second graders. They used posters and games to offer practical information about businesses and the many jobs those businesses offer in a community.

Students explored production methods through a simulation game and they learned about taxes, decision making and how money flows through an economy.

Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrpreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

We are always pleased when the JA volunteers visit us.

Many thanks to the coordinator, Tina Florentine, and all the HSBC volunteers.
